OJEE 2022 Counseling Dates

JEE Mains- Aspirants will take the JEE Main 2022 April test between April 16 and May 4. On March 1, the NTA also issued the JEE Main 2022 application form. JEE Mains 2023 application forms are available on the official website - jeemain.nta.nic. In 2023. Candidates who want to take the Joint Entrance Examination Mains 2023 must fill out the JEE Main 2022 application form and submit it by March 31, 2022. CAT- The Common Admission Test (CAT) is a management aptitude test that a candidate must pass to be admitted to the MBA programs offered by 20 IIMs and over 1,200 B-schools in India. The CAT 2023 exam will most likely be held on November 27. The schedule for the exams will be announced in the last week of July. Applications for CAT 2023 will be accepted beginning in the first week of August and until the third week of September 2022. The application fee for general candidates is Rs 2,200, while the fee for reserved candidates is Rs 1,100. 

GATE- Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an online national level examination for admission to Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), and other institutes/universities across India for Master of Engineering (M.E.), Masters in Technology (MTech), and direct Ph.D. programs. In February 2023, GATE will release a provisional answer key and the window to challenge the provisional answer key was open from February 21 to February 25. The exam authority will release the GATE 2023 final answer key.

MAT- The All India Management Association (AIMA) administers the Management Aptitude Test (MAT), a national-level entrance exam for admission to MBA/PGDM programs. The exam is given four times a year, in February, May, September, and December. Qualifying candidates are eligible for admission to over 800 business schools that accept MAT scores.

The MAT is administered in three modes: offline (Paper Based Test or PBT), online (Computer Based Test or CBT), and remotely proctored (Internet Based Test or IBT). 

OJEE- Odisha Joint Entrance Exam (OJEE) is a state-level entrance exam for admission to B.Pharm, MBA/PGDM, MCA, and M.Tech programs administered by the OJEE Cell. The exam will be administered via computer-based testing (CBT) for various papers. Candidates can apply for admission to various programs offered by OJEE participating colleges based on their OJEE 2022 scores. OJEE is also used to get into Lateral Entry B.Tech, MCA/Lateral Entry MCA programs.

XAT- The XAT (Xavier Aptitude Test) is a national-level management entrance exam administered by XLRI, Jamshedpur, for admission to MBA/PGDM programs. The XAT exam paper contains 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) from Decision Making, Verbal & Logical Ability, Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation, and General Knowledge. Every January, the XAT exam is held on the first Sunday. XAT cut-offs for XLRI’s PGDM-BM program are typically in the 95th percentile for male candidates and the 92nd percentile for female candidates.

Library 

The library is a massive 3120 square foot space with a collection of over 41075 learning resources in all major disciplines. The collection includes books, periodicals, journals, manuscripts, pamphlets, magazines, and other materials to keep students’ knowledge up to date. The central library has subscribed to DELNET, which gives faculty and students access to over 200 libraries in India and abroad.

Medical Center

The ‘Rajlaxmi Memorial Health Centre’ at OEC provides medical services to students and staff for minor ailments. The college also organizes medical camps for students on campus at regular intervals. There is also an ambulance service available.

Gymnasium

OEC provides a Gymnasium with significant equipment to help students stay physically fit and healthy. These gyms can accommodate more than fifty students per session. Experienced trainers are assigned to each session.

Sports

Sports OEC has excellent sports facilities for both boys and girls on campus, including different indoor and outdoor games and sports arenas, specialist coaches, an outdoor stadium for different activities, an athletic track for track & field events, cricket practice equipment, and a football grace court.

Hostels 

The OEC has hostels for both boys and girls. The college has a boys’ hostel on campus with 350 students. The girls’ hostels are located off-campus and can accommodate 570 students. The hostels have all of the necessary amenities, such as proper hygiene and mess facilities.
